on its own OliBOND is a Prime&Bond type light-curing bonding system. Owing to its exceptional hydrophilic properties, it works great in wet-bonding applications, allowing resin monomers to penetrate deeply into dentinal tubules. This ensures a strong and, above all, durable bond between the composite material and dental tissues.

this unique bonding system can be quickly transformed from light-curing to dual-curing. It is enough to add a special activator to the basic version of OliBOND that will activate chemical polymerisation. Such an OliBOND / OliActivator mixture can be applied with chemically- and dually-curing materials as well as during procedures where the use of light is limited or impossible.

OliBond is an easy-to-use, light-cured, single-component Primer-Bond system. It has been developed to create a strong bond between composites, compomers and metal with enamel and dentine, and precious and non-precious metals. It is suitable for impregnating root canals before filling or cementing a post.

It is also intended to act as a primer for indirect ceramic, metal or composite restorations cemented with dual-cured cements – e.g. OliCem DC.

OliBond works with all currently available light-cured composites. Due to its ethanol content, it has hydrophilic properties. This makes it suitable for Wet-Bonding on slightly damp surfaces.

In cases where a dual-cure Primer-Bond system is recommended, it can be converted into one using a separately available activator (OliActivator) by mixing both components in a 1:1 ratio
